CALL TO ORDER:  
Meeting was called to order by Kevin Beliveau, Supervisor  at 6:12 pm

ROLL CALL:
Present:  Alanda Barnes, Jan Baldwin, Mary Jo Samotis, Kevin Beliveau, Matthew Gary, 
                Yvette Ramsdell
Staff Present:  Mark Ritter, Superintendent, Susie Olpere, Recording Secretary

MEETING AGENDA:
Motion was made by Yvette Ramsdell to approve meeting agenda as noted for Sept. 19, 2011, second by Kelly Graham                  
Approved:  Unanimously by roll call vote
Motion Carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:   None

NEW BUSINESS:  

A) Consider Form 4029 which sets 2012 millage rates- Presentation was made by Jessica Williams in review of information pertaining to rates. Motion to accept 2011 Tax Rate Request Form L-4029 with General Operating Rate – 4.5880, Special Fire rate – 1.2000, and Special Senior Citizen Rate - .0981 was made by Baldwin. Second by Barnes.  
Unanimous – By roll call vote
Motion Carried.

Budget study Session including

	Draft budget and General Appropriations Act – Mr. Ritter provided the board a draft
            of the budget and a copy of the General Appropriations Act.  The board and  
            superintendent studied the budget and made the decision to set up another meeting to 
            further study pensions, Soc. Security contributions, anniversary review of salaries for a
            assessor and superintendent.   
                                                                    
            Wage and salary discussion – Mr. Beliveau tabled this issue to another work session.

            Health Insurance – Motion was made by Trustee Gary to accept BCBS Option # 2  
            CB3A, with dental and vision coverage added to current health insurance benefits. 
            Second by Barnes   
            Unanimous – by roll call vote
            Motion Carried.


Next workshop budget meeting set for – October 17, 2011 at 6:00
Date for Public Hearing -  November 21, 2011 at 6:00
