Special Board Meeting
May 16, 2011


CALL TO ORDER:  
Meeting was called to order by  Kevin Beliveau, Supervisor  at 4:00 pm

ROLL CALL:
Present:  Alanda Barnes, Jan Baldwin, Mary Jo Samotis, Kevin Beliveau, Matthew Gary, 
                Yvette Ramsdell
Absent:  
Staff Present:  Mark Ritter, Superintendent 

Press Coverage: Karen Rouse

Others Present:  Mary Meltz and Kelly Graham

Pledge of Allegiance recited.

MEETING AGENDA:
Motion was made by Jan Baldwin to approve meeting agenda as noted for May 16, 2011, second by Alanda Barnes                    
Approved:  Unanimously by roll call vote
Motion Carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:   None


NEW BUSINESS:  

	A) Interview of Applicants for Clerk’s Position:   Candidates for this position were Yvette Ramsdell,  Mary Meltz, and Kelly Graham.  Each person was asked questions individually from board members.   At the end of the interview process a motion was made by Alanda Barnes to hire Yvette Ramsdell and was second by Mary Jo Samotis.    An alternate motion was made by Matt Gary to hire Kelly Graham for the clerk’s position, which was second Kevin Beliveau.  Vote was taken on the alternate motion by roll call vote. 
  
Matt Gary – Aye                             Mary Jo Samotis - Aye
Alanda Barnes – Nay                     Jan Baldwin - Aye
Kevin Beliveau – Aye                     Yvette Ramsdell – Abstained from vote

Kelly Graham was voted as the new clerk.
