Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor Kevin Beliveau

PRESENT:
Jan Baldwin, Alanda Barnes, Kevin Beliveau, Matthew Gary, Lynn Mitchell, Mary Jo Samotis, and Yvette Ramsdell

MEETING AGENDA: A motion was made by Alanda Barnes to approve the meeting agenda as stated, seconded by Jan Baldwin. All in favor. Motion carried. 

PUBLIC COMMENT:
* None

CONSENT AGENDA- A motion was made by Yvette Ramsdell to approve the consent agenda seconded by Alanda Barnes. Roll call, All in favor. Motion carried.

PRESENTATIONS:
A. Treasurer- Nothing 
B. Clerk- Nothing 
C. Superintendent- Updates
* Dredging 
* HSRUA
* Consumer Energy  
* MTA- A motion by Kevin Beliveau to allow any board members who wants to attend get the reservations into Lynn by 20th at noon, seconded by Matt Gary. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.
* Beautification Committee- next agenda 
* September 15, 2010 between 10:00-1:00 pm phragmites removal at Shoreline Park volunteers needed.
* Currently working on early phase of 2011 budget.

OLD BUSINESS:
A. Update on Phragmites treatment program-September 15, 2010 between 10:00-1:00 pm phragmites treatment will begin at Shoreline Park volunteers needed.
B. Update on US 23 highway upgrade

NEW BUSINESS:
A. Jody Schemanske to present opportunity to televise board meetings- she didn’t attend.
B. Discuss vandalism at Children’s Park and the possible need for surveillance equipment
C. Consider request by Oscoda Area United Way to fund raise in AuSable Township- motion by Alanda Barnes to allow United Way to fund raise in AuSable Township, seconded by Yvette Ramsdell. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.

BOARD COMMENTS: 
* Alanda stated she received a complaint  someone was residing in the business behind Riverside Auto would you please look into this.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
* Can the township recoup funds for the damages from the vandalism?
