Regular Meeting
August 2, 2010

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor Kevin Beliveau

PRESENT:
Jan Baldwin, Alanda Barnes, Kevin Beliveau, Matthew Gary, Lynn Mitchell, Mary Jo Samotis, and Yvette Ramsdell   

ABSENT:

MEETING AGENDA: A motion was made by Alanda Barnes to approve the meeting agenda as stated, seconded by Yvette Ramsdell. All in favor. Motion carried. 

PUBLIC COMMENT:
* None

CONSENT AGENDA- A motion was made by Alanda Barnes to approve the consent agenda seconded by Jan Baldwin. Roll call, All in favor. Motion carried.

PRESENTATIONS:
A. Treasurer- Thanks to everyone who paddled.
B. Clerk- previous contribution to Iosco Firefighters Association was only a ¼ page and $175.00. Also remember to vote tomorrow Tuesday, August 03, 2010 7am- 8pm.
C. Superintendent- Mark and Cal will be working the week end to get everything moved for the office change Monday, August 09, 2010 the new office furniture will be delivered. The fence will be started tomorrow at the new DPW building. United Water suggested that along with themselves, Oscoda and AuSable Townships should create a emergency plan. MDOT will be holding a meeting to discuss the 2012 resurfacing of US 23 at the end of the month in the Oscoda Township meeting room and Mark will notify  everyone via email everyone.

PUBLIC HEARING: None
 
OLD BUSINESS:
A. Revisit street light turn-off list- after discussion between board members the consensus of the board was to go ahead with turn-offs per list presented. 
B. Update on sewer pump station issue.

NEW BUSINESS:
A. General Fund budget amendment- Motion by Lynn Mitchell to approve Resolution 2010-05 to increase line item 101-856-880-000 for $2000.00 with funds coming from the Unreserved Fund Balance.

BOARD COMMENTS: 
* Matt commented on LED CITY.ORG. to look at other communities with alternate lighting.
* Congratulations to all who participated in the battle of the Township. We won!
