MEETING AGENDA: Motion by Barnes to approve the meeting agenda, seconded by Samotis. All in favor. Motion carried.

CONSENT AGENDA:
Motion by Barnes to approve the consent agenda, bills dated 04/21/09-05/04/09 and regular minutes dated April 20, 2009, seconded by Baldwin. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

OLD BUSINESS:
1. Consider requests from AuSable / Oscoda Chamber of Commerce for three summer events. Motion by Samotis to approve Chamber request for Mind, Body and Spirit Festival to be held June 13-14, 2009, including Campfire at Shoreline Park, seconded by Mayville. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.
2. Motion by Mayville to approve request for AuSable River days on July 25 and 26, 2009 at Shoreline Park, seconded by Baldwin. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Motion by Barnes to approve Chamber request for Shoreline Arts and Crafts Show at Shoreline Park August 22-23, 2009, seconded by Mayville. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS:
A. Consider Meter replacement bids. Motion by Barnes to accept Don Erikson’s bid for Don’s Plumbing and Heating for the water meter change out, seconded by Samotis. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.
B. Discuss summer dust control plan.

BOARD COMMENTS:
* Harriet Ellwein taking recommendations for beautification awards now until July 15, 2009.
* Condolences to Lynn Mitchell 

PUBLIC COMMENT:
* E –news letter go out on Mondays on Chamber website
* Tomorrow May 05, 2009, AuSable Oscoda clean sweep.

Motion by Ramsdell  to adjourn, seconded by Baldwin. All in favor! Motion carried.  Meeting was adjourned at 7:58 p.m.
