AGENDA:
Motion by Samotis to approve the meeting agenda, seconded by Barnes. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

CONSENT AGENDA:
Motion by Barnes to approve the consent agenda, minutes from the regular meeting dated December 01, 2008, reports, and bills dated 12/02/08-12/15/08, seconded by Mitchell. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

A. Discuss/confirm AuSable Huron Condominium Campground meeting date for January 9, 2009
B. Consider DPW Manager’s sidewalk plowing proposal. The consensus of the Board is for Cal Taylor to bill us for his equipment charge of $50.00 during regular working hours,
C. Consider Quit Claim Deed approval to assign AuSable water tower, appurtenances and land to the Huron Shores Regional Utility Authority. Motion by Samotis to approve Supervisor and Clerk to sign water tower quit claim deed, seconded by Mitchell. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

A. Consider reappointment of Board of Review Members...
* Allan Mixter
* Dolores Svoboda
* Maurice Rhoads
Motion by Mitchell to approve the reappointment of Allan Mixter, Dolores Svoboda and Maurice Rhoads to the Board of Review, seconded by Barnes. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.
B. Consider resolution to recommend approval of Huron Shores Regional Utility Authority 2009 budget. Motion by Mitchell to approve Resolution 2008-33 HSRUA 2009 Budget, seconded by Samotis. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.
C. Consider Supervisor’s appointments to Planning Commission- Beliveau nominated Alanda Barnes as the Board Representative to the Planning Commission and David Langley to fill the vacated seat by Jim Coon, who resigned January 1, 2009. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.
D. Consider approval of service contracts as prepared and presented by Oscoda Township. Motion by Mitchell to approve the Police contract for $ 230,566.00, seconded by Mayville. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried. Motion by Mayville to approve the addendums for Fire, Library and Cemetery contracts, seconded by Mitchell. Roll Call. All in favor. Motion carried.
E. Consider resolution to amend 2008 fund budgets. Motion by Mayville to approve Resolution 2008-34 to amend the 2008 General Fund and Industrial Fund Budgets, seconded by Mitchell. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.
F. Consider resolution to set non-elected employees and board/commission pay, Motion by Mitchell to approve Resolution 2008-35, seconded by Mayville. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.
G. Discuss reappointment of Bill Brandt to the Building Authority Board per recommendation from Paul Blumenfeld. Motion by Samotis to re-appoint  Bill Brandt for a full (3) year term for years 2009, 2010 and 2011. January - December, seconded by Barnes. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.
H. Consider BS&A proposal- Motion by Samotis to authorize the necessary upgrade to general ledger, accounts payable and $2,400 for necessary instruction, seconded by Mayville. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried. Assessing, Equalizer and Special Assessment will be presented in March for consideration.

BOARD COMMENTS:
* Jan stated that the Procedure & Policy’s are not consistent.

PUBLIC COMMENT: 
* The Board should recognize Jack Matthews for the years served for AuSable Township.
