AGENDA:
Motion by Baldwin to approve the meeting agenda with the correction to notes for agenda packet adding A. Audit and reletter B.-E. Seconded by Samotis. All in favor. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
Opened at 7:04p.m. - None

CONSENT AGENDA:
Motion by Mitchell to approve reports and bills dated 06/03/08-06/16/08 and the minutes dated 06/02/08, seconded by Baldwin. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

PRESENTATIONS:
A. Heritage Trail- Jan Baldwin Update, next meeting date is July 11, 2008 at Baldwin Township and Rob Eggers will be at this meeting.
B. Parks & Recreation- Jan Baldwin, Cal and I opened bids for Barrier Free Observation Deck at Shoreline Park
C. Develop Iosco- Paul Mayville, Nothing
D. Treasurer- Nothing

NEW BUSINESS:
A. Audit Presentation- Don Brannan
B. Insurance Rate- Mary Jo and Lynn will come back with the figures with policy changes
C. Lighting Damage- IT right will be here again on June 20, 2008, to install new equipment; Clerk, Lynn Mitchell has contacted the Townships insurance carrier for a claim.
D. Election Commission Meeting- Monday, June 30, 2008, meeting date set at 12:00 p.m. noon to pick election workers for the August 5, 2008, Primary Election. Monday, July 14, 2008, at 12:00 p.m. is the date the election commission will hold its Public Accuracy Test for the August 5, 2008, Primary Election.
E. Superintendent Position- Personnel Committee Update- Mark Ritter was offered the position of Superintendent.  Kevin Beliveau made the motion to authorize the personnel committee to review and negotiate contract, hired date and wage within the pay scale the Board approved $35,000.00- $40,000.00, seconded by Mitchell. Roll call: Yeas- Barnes, Beliveau, Mayville, Samotis, Baldwin. Neas- Hayes. Motion carried
F. Martin Gayeski- Discussion only. Mary Jo Samotis will contact the Gayeski’s let them know they  should list their property with the real estate company and thank them for giving us the first option.
G. Correspondence

2) John Carl
3) Oscoda Township- Contact Mr. Stalker that the rate is within the range the Board agreed to and to proceed.
