Motion by Baldwin to approve meeting agenda, seconded by Samotis. All in favor. Motion carried.

Motion by Barnes to approve reports, bills dated 12/18/07-01/07/08 and the minutes dated 12/17/07, seconded by Baldwin. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

B. Michigan Municipal League Clerk Certification Training- Motion by Beliveau to approve sending Clerk Lynn Mitchell  to MAMC Training 3rd year in the amount of $ 1,199.00, seconded by Baldwin. Roll call. All in favor. Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS CONTINUED:
D. Water and Sewer Rate Study- Motion by Beliveau to approve the ACI Finance Incorporated to move forward with the Water Sewer Rate Study for the amount of $12,000.00 to be paid 81% Water and 19% Sewer, seconded by Mitchell. Roll call vote. Yea’s- Mayville, Mitchell, Samotis, Baldwin, Barnes, Beliveau. Nea’s- Hayes. Motion carried.
1) 2008 Budget Amendment for Election Workers- Motion by Mayville to set wages for 2008 election workers, January and May Election chairman: $ 8.15 per hour, Election worker: $7.15 per hour. August and November 2008 elections- Election chairman; $ 8.40 per hour, Election worker $7.40 per hour, will do budget transfer in December 2008, seconded by Baldwin. Roll call vote. All in favor. Motion carried.

BOARD COMMENTS:
Kevin Beliveau commended Superintendent, Sandra Wilson for doing a great job to bring a savings to the Township of $5,000.00.
REMNIDER: to all that our next meeting will be held on Tuesday January, 16, 2008, @ 7:00p.m. Due to Martin Luther King Jr.  Day holiday on Monday.
