Public Hearing- 2006-2010 
Community Recreation Plan
     February 6, 2006
Meeting called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Trustee, Kevin Beliveau.
PRESENT:
Mitchell, Baldwin, Beliveau, Barnes, Reeder, Hayes arrived late at 7:10 p.m.
ABSENT: 
None 
STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent-

OTHERS PRESENT: Oscoda High 
School Students.
Superintendent Sandra Wilson gave an overview of the proposed 2006-2010 Community 
Recreation Plan and explained.
BOARD COMMENTS:
None

PUBLIC COMMENTS: Opened at 7:11 p.m.
?	Mr. Paul Darner stated he would like to see AuSable Township regain control of 
McQuaig Park from Oscoda Township. There is a lot of potential with that property. He 
stated that he would like to form a committee and move forward.
?	Trustee Kevin Beliveau explained that there has been some discussion between 
AuSable and Oscoda but that there are some existing stipulations on that property, 
from a former grant. 
?	Mr. Larry Baldwin stated he is an advocate of Shoreline Park and the Boat Launch.
?	Mr. Frank Miller made a comment regarding the possibility of a Campground and stated 
that it should thoroughly investigated before that is pursued. He could see a lot of 
potential problems and cost.

Motion by Mitchell to close Public Hearing and reconvene back into regular meeting at 7:10p.m. All 
in favor. Motion carried.
