Charter Twp. of AuSable 

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock.

PRESENT:
Lamrock, Schweickert, Beliveau, Barnes, and Poland.

ABSENT:
Gary and Kopko.

MEETING AGENDA:
Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Barnes to accept the meeting agenda as presented.
All in favor, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Larry Baldwin commented on the nice high flying flag that was installed at Finish Line Park
after the parade on 4th of July.

CONSENT AGENDA:
Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Beliveau to approve the Twp. minutes of 06-16-03, receive
the Planning Comm. Minutes of 05-28-03 and the US-23 Heritage Route Public Meeting minutes
of 07-01-03, and authorize payment of general, water and sewer bills.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

RETIREMENT PLAN-DEFERRED COMPENSATION RESOLUTION:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Barnes to adopt the Deferred Compensation resolution and appoint the Treasurer to sign all documents, receive reports, cast votes, and execute all agreements incidental to the administration of The Plan.

NEW BUSINESS

CITY OF FERNDALE-REQUEST FOR SUPPORT:
The Township Board will take this under advisement.

IOSCO TOWNSHIPS ASSOCIATION-MEETING REMINDER:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Beliveau to reimburse any member of the board for meals
and mileage to attend the meeting on July 17th in Wilber. 
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

VARNUM-CABLE CONCERNS:
Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Barnes authorizing the Supervisor to draft a letter about the 
concerns of cable in AuSable.
All in favor, motion carried.

BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD-COMM. ON HEALTHCARE-MINUTES/RECOMMENDATION:
Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Poland to contact Mr. Dyball and notify him of the upcoming
change in the BC/BS plan.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

BOARD COMMENTS:
The Supervisor commented on US-23 road work, the bicycle path, and sidewalk bids.
