February 18, 2003 Regular Meeting Charter Township of AuSable Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock. PRESENT: Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Gary, Barnes, Gaskell and Beliveau. ABSENT: None PRESS COVERAGE: Holly Nelson Pledge of Allegiance recited. MEETING AGENDA: Motion by Kopko, seconded by Schweickert to accept the meeting agenda as presented. All in favor, motion carried. CONSENT AGENDA: Minutes: Twp. 02/05/03; HSRUA 01/07/03 Reports: Police, Water and Sewer; Zoning Bills: General, Water, Sewer Correspondence: DEQ-Industrial Pretreatment Program Motion by Kopko, seconded by Barnes to approve the consent agenda with the addition of a bond payment to the county for $2,800.00 in the water fund. Roll call, all yes, motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS (* - nothing new to report) HOUSING STANDARDS/PROPERTY MAINTENANCE ORDINANCE * ROAD POLICY * RETIREMENT PLAN * CHAMBER REQUEST * RETURNED PROPERTY * CHILDREN'S PARK IMPROVEMENT * BIKE PATH/DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK * WASCHE WATERLINE FREEZE: Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Gaskell to deny payment of the two invoices concerning the Wasche freeze up. Roll call, all yes, motion carried. METRO ACT ORDINANCE-update: Supervisor Lamrock said he hasn't drafted an ordinance yet but will have one ready for our review. NEW BUSINESS None BOARD COMMENTS: Supervisor Lamrock asked Cal Taylor to report on spatial needs. Cal handed out a survey and said it is due back February 22, 2003. The Supervisor reports that B&B Construction has volunteered to install the flag. The American Legion donated $253.00 and the Greenhouse donated $5,000.00. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Jan Baldwin asked about the Bike Path. Cal Taylor reports that freeze ups are extreme. ADJOURN: Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Barnes to adjourn, 7:35 P.M.
