Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor Lamrock.

PRESENT:
Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Beliveau, Gary and Gaskell.

Barnes

Motion by Kopko, seconded by Beliveau to accept the meeting agenda as presented.
All in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Gary, seconded by Gaskell to approve the consent agenda as presented.

NEW BUSINESS

NPP UPDATE:
Motion by Gary, seconded by Schweickert to authorize Supervisor Lamrock to take
another survey of Harbor Street and Smith Street to determine if they would like 
sidewalks, paid for by the grant, and to get bids and quotes on the rest of the Neighborhood
Preservation Project improvements.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

YEAR TO DATE BUDGET NUMBERS:
Supervisor Lamrock presented the 2002 budget report through June. He asked us to review it
and think about how we can cut next year's spending in case the State cuts revenue sharing.
We could be cut by $46,000.00 or about 10% of our budget.

BOARD COMMENTS:
Gary commented that he recently visited the Harrisville Harbor and was surprised to 
learn just how many people it attracts. He said it has a considerable effect on the economy
and he urged the township board to think about this for our area.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Jim Baier, Oscoda Township Trustee, was present to invite our board to the township 
meeting in Oscoda on Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at 7:00 P.M.
