Charter Township of AuSable Regular Meeting Monday, July 15th, 2002 Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock. PRESENT: Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Gary, Beliveau, Gaskell and Barnes. ABSENT: None Pledge of Allegiance recited. MEETING AGENDA: Motion by Kopko, seconded by Gaskell to: (1) uncap Forest Rd. Speed Limit Signs under old business and (2) add Utility Building-Dave Dailey/John Burt, and approve the meeting agenda with the changes. All in favor, motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Larry Baldwin welcomed Alanda Barnes back to the meeting on behalf of the public. CONSENT AGENDA: Minutes Twp. Board 07-01-02, HSRUA 06-04-02 Reports June Police, Water/Sewer, Zoning Bills General, Water and Sewer Correspondence Iosco County Agricultural Society-Iosco County Fair Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Beliveau to approve the consent agenda as presented. Roll call, all yes, motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS ( * - nothing new to report ) WATER RATE CHANGES * HOUSING STANDARDS/PROPERTY MAINTENANCE ORDINANCE * ROAD POLICY * RETIREMENT PLAN * FOREST ROAD SPEED LIMIT SIGNS: Motion by Gary, seconded by Gaskell to hold off action on County Road Commission's recommendation to post advisory signs and caution signs. All in favor, motion carried. NEW BUSINESS ZONING ORDINANCE AMEDMENTS-RAPANOS: Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Gaskell to support the Planning Commission's decision to deny the zoning ordinance amendments based on all the Planning Commission's reasons for denial. Roll call, all yes, motion carried. SIDEWALK SURVEYS: Motion by Kopko, seconded by Beliveau to remove bad sidewalks and restore the grounds with the residents approval, using full grant money. This excludes Harbor Street until more information on that project is brought to the board. Supervisor Lamrock is to decide where bad sidewalks are. Roll call, all yes, motion carried. 2. Kevin Beliveau asked that we use our current crew on the sidewalk removal project and also that we get more detailed price on concrete work for sidewalks for the length of Harbor Street. Permission was given to have Supervisor Lamrock send a mailing out for notice of bad sidewalks. UTILITY BUILDING-DAVE DAILEY/JOHN BURT: Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Barnes that we approve the project contingent upon our Zoning Administrator receiving appropriate documents that were missing. Roll call, all yes, motion carried. BOARD COMMENTS: Beliveau comments on a tree being down on Pierce. Lamrock comments on delay in Children's Park Project and he hasn't heard back from MDOT on Phase #l of Bike Path Plan.
