Special Meeting & Public Hearing
Charter Township of AuSable

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock.

PRESENT:
Lamrock , Schweickert, Kopko, Gaskell, Beliveau and Barnes.

ABSENT:
Gary

Pledge of Allegiance recited.

MEETING AGENDA:
Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Barnes to approve the meeting agenda.
All in favor, motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING-2002 BUDGET:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Schweickert to suspend the special meeting
and open the public hearing. Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

Jerry Silvey was the only person in attendance of the meeting and didn't have
any objections.

Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Schweickert to close the public hearing and
reopen the special meeting. Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Schweickert to adopt the 2002 Budget as
presented, except for changes to add the election workers to the compensation
sheet at minimum wage and to amend their wage line item to add $300.00,
to make it a total of $1,600.00, and correct the millage levy on revenues on 
page 2 of 14.   Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

BOARD COMMENTS:
Supervisor Lamrock informed the board that Oscoda wanted to have a joint
meeting with us on this coming Monday night. However, our board wishes
to be updated first, so Supervisor Lamrock will put it on the agenda of our
November 5th meeting.

Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Gaskell to adjourn, 7:25 P.M.
