Regular Meeting
Charter Township of AuSable

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock.

PRESENT:
Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Gary, Beliveau, Barnes and Gaskell. 

ABSENT:
None.

PRESS COVERAGE:
Holly Nelson.

Pledge of Allegiance recited.

MEETING AGENDA:
Motion by Gary, seconded by Barnes to accept the meeting agenda as presented.
All in favor, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
None.

CONSENT AGENDA:  (Minutes March 19 and 28; Reports - None;
	                            Bills - General, Water and Sewer).  

Motion by Gary, seconded by Kopko to approve the consent agenda as presented.  
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

HSRUA BOND-UPDATE:
Motion by Gary, seconded by Barnes to opt our of the proposed bonds and pay our portion up front.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

SAMPLE METER REPLACEMENT - OPEN BIDS:
Seven bids were received for review.
Motion by Gary, seconded by Barnes to refer this to committee and that they make the decision.  After some discussion, Gary added to his motion that the committee meet as soon as possible, (possibly Wednesday afternoon).  Roll call, all yes, motion carried.  After more discussion, it was decided that, the committee would meet on Tuesday (04-03-01) at 7:00 P.M.


NEW BUSINESS

OPEN TRUST AND AGENCY ACCOUNT:
Motion by Gary, seconded by Kopko to open a Trust and Agency Account for AuSable Township.  
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

AMEND 2001 BUDGET-COMPENSATION DATA:
Motion by Gary, seconded by Kopko to amend the 2001 Budget and allow $8.00 per hour for water administrator.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

BOARD COMMENTS:
Schweickert commented that Mornelva Snitchler, Clerk of AuSable Township, dies Saturday.  Mornelva was clerk from April 29, 1955 until November 20, 1978.

Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Schweickert that the regular meeting of April 16th be rescheduled for April 23rd and have Stephenson/Gracik come to that meeting.  All in favor, motion carried.
