Charter Township of AuSable 

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock.

PRESENT:
Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Gary, Beliveau, Burley and Wassmann.  

ABSENT:
None.

ACCEPT MEETING AGENDA:
Ron Lamrock motioned, Bobbi Kopko seconded to accept the meeting agenda as proposed. 
All in favor, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
None at this time.

CONSENT AGENDA:  
Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Kopko to approve the consent agenda which includes Minutes - Twp. 9/18/00; Bills - General, Water and Sewer.  Burley and Wassmann No on 17917 and 5774 and Yes on everything else.  Gary, Beliveau, Kopko, Schweickert and Lamrock yes, motion carried.

Motion by Kopko, seconded by Gary to place seasonal water shut off notices and permit reminders on the website.

POLAND SUMMONS-UPDATE:
Rob Eppert present to discuss Mr. Poland's request to vacate property known as W.D. Horton's Addition to the village of AuSable.  The Plaintiff desires to vacate the aforesaid plat since the subdivision was never developed and it is not feasible to further develop the property as a subdivision.

COMMUNITY RECREATION PLAN UPDATE:
Supervisor Lamrock presented the list of planners that our RFP was sent to.  They will have until just prior to our next meeting to submit proposals.

WATER STANDARDS *




INOPERABLE VEHICLE ISSUES-UPDATE:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Burley to authorize Attorney Eppert to notify Mrs. Frei about the inoperable cars and other possible nuisances at her property and authorize him to seek remedy with District Circuit Court as he deems necessary should she fail to provide the proof.
All in favor, Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS

BUDGETS (GENERAL, WATER, SEWER):
Motion by Beliveau, seconded by Schweickert, to hold a special meeting on the budgets October 9th at 7:00 P.M.
All in favor, motion carried.

CELLULAR SERVICE:
The Supervisor has enclosed an offer from the same law firm that represented us in our cable franchise but Attorney Eppert might be able to get one for free.

INSURANCE RENEWAL:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Schweickert to pay our insurance.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

PLANNING COMMISSION REGISTRATION/RECOMMENDATION:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Wassmann to appoint Jan Baldwin to the Planning Commission to take Dale Lamrock's place.  
All in favor, motion carried.

BOARD COMMENTS:
Supervisor Lamrock informs us that our water loss is back up to 28.2% this month and he will wait until two or three months before he gets worried about it.
