September 5, 2000 Regular Meeting Charter Township of AuSable Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock. PRESENT: Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Beliveau, Gary, Burley & Wassmann. ABSENT: None. PRESS COVERAGE: Jennifer Gowdecke. Pledge of Allegiance recited. MEETING AGENDA: Motion by Gary, seconded by Kopko to accept the meeting agenda as presented. All in favor, motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None at this time. CONSENT AGENDA: (MINUTES TWP. 8/21/00; GEN & WATER FUND BILLS): Motion by Gary, seconded by Beliveau to approve the consent agenda with correction to Rob Eppert's bill, which is $825.00 instead of $725.00, changing the total in Gen. Fund to $5,837.34. Roll call: Gary, Beliveau, Kopko, Schweickert & Lamrock YES; Burley and Wassman NO on check nos. 5754 and 17852 and YES on everything else, motion carried. WATER RATE CHANGE/ORDINANCE * WEBSITE * HOUSING STANDARDS ORDINANCE * ROAD POLICY * AMERICINN PROPOSAL * GRASS ORDINANCE * NEW BUSINESS HOME BEAUTIFICATION AWARD: Award Recipients not in attendance, will reschedule. TRUTH IN TAXATION - BUDGET PRESENTATION: Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Gary to pass the resolution to hold a Truth in Taxation Hearing on September 18, 2000, at 7:00 P.M. at the AuSable Township Hall. Roll call: Burley and Wassmann NO; Beliveau, Gary, Kopko, Schweickert and Lamrock YES; motion carried. BOARD COMMENTS: Supervisor Lamrock said he is pretty confident that he will have the resolution on the water service line issue ready for us to review in the very near future. He will be discussing with Rob Eppert as to whether it has to be done by resolution or ordinance. Also, he will be receiving some information from Gary Bartow as to how other communities handle these issues. Page (2) September 5, 2000 Regular Meeting PUBLIC COMMENTS: June and Roy Silvers were present to inquire about MTA's response to our request concerning operability of the parked car on Mrs. Frei's Property. Supervisor Lamrock explained that MTA suggested our zoning administrator write for proof of insurance and registration on the vehicle. If he receives no response, he can follow through by citing the individual under Section $ of the ordinance. Supervisor Lamrock also explained that our zoning administrator has been on vacation but he will inform him to follow through by sending a letter to Mrs. Frei.
