WATER RATE SHIFT/ORDINANCE UPDATE: Motion by Wassmann, seconded by Schweickert authorizing Supervisor Lamrock to engage the services of Tom Traciak to help him with a water rate shift and ordinance update. All in favor, motion carried. CEMETERY ROAD ABANDONMENT: Motion by Kopko, seconded by Gary to support Oscoda's stance on attempting to abandon Adams Road on the west side of the cemetery. BOARD COMMENTS: Dale Burley read his memo notifying board members that he is resigning from the zoning board of appeals, alternate to the water board, election committee and fence viewing committee, as of 02/07/2000. Bob Wassmann informed Supervisor Lamrock that he wants to be on the agenda for 02/21/2000 to discuss the police millage vote. UNFINISHED BUSINESS (*= nothing new to report) OHS Water/Sewer* North Pier Ordinance* Bicycle Path* WATER/SEWER RATE CHANGE/ORDINANCE UPDATE: Supervisor Lamrock reports that he spoke with Financial Advisor Tom Traciak and they reached the understanding that it would be okay to lower our sewer rates but still have to work on water report. PARKS COMMITTEE: Supervisor Lamrock reports that we advertised for volunteer members to form a parks committee. 6 applications have been received to date. Minutes NEW BUSINESS NEMCSA NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION PROPOSAL-Kathy Whitford: Kathy Whitford attended this meeting and explained the Neighborhood Preservation Program booklet to the board. The board will review program and next step will be to appoint a planning team of 3 to 5 or more. Must be ready to produce application for funding in April or August. Kathy pointed out that if the program is well received there may not be funding in August. POLICE MILLAGE-Bob Wassmann: Motion by Wassmann, seconded by Burley to postpone the police millage issue until next meeting. All in favor, motion carried. CONDEMNATION COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT-Jeff Matthews: Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Burley to appoint Jeff Matthews as our condemnation officer for AuSable Township. All in favor, motion carried. TOWNSHIP ROAD MANAGEMENT CLASS: Motion by Schweickert, seconded by Kopko to pay $70.00 registration fee, meals and mileage for the Supervisor and other buildings and grounds committee members to attend Township Road Management class.
