Regular Meeting
Charter Township of AuSable

Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Lamrock.

PRESENT:
Lamrock, Schweickert, Kopko, Beliveau, Wassmann, & Gary.

ABSENT:
Burley.

PRESS COVERAGE:
Dennis Pajot.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Recited.

MEETING AGENDA:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Kopko to accept the meeting agenda      
with addition of Assessor's B.O.R. seminar and a fire proof cabinet for 
Clerk's office.
All in favor, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
None.                                               

CONSENT AGENDA:
Motion by Kopko, seconded by Gary to approve the consent agenda 
(Twp. Board Minutes 01/04/00; Police Report; Zoning Report; General, 
Water & Sewer bills).
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

OHS/WATER/SEWER:          
Asking for extension.  Will be addressed at later date.
                   
NORTH PIER ORDINANCE - UPDATE:
Supervisor Lamrock received a letter from Rob Eppert.
MDOT informs us that we have to pass an ordinance if automobiles are
to be towed from that area.

NEW BUSINESS 

PARKS & RECREATION (Matt Gary):
Matt motioned to expand the Parks and Recreation Committee to five 
or seven person board and appoint interested citizens to that committee.
However, he withdrew the motion and Supervisor Lamrock will check 
with MTA on procedures and legalities and report back tot he board.

WATER RATE SHIFT/ORDINANCE UPDATE:
Supervisor Lamrock showed the board a draft and will work on this more 
and bring back for approval.

SURPLUS PROPERTY:
Motion by Wassmann, seconded by Beliveau to advertise items for sale. 
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

IOSCO TOWNSHIPS ASSOCIATION:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Kopko to pay the $50.00 membership 
fees and also costs for anyone interested in attending the January 27th 
meeting in Hale.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

B.O.R. SEMINAR:
Motion by Lamrock, seconded by Gary approving mileage, meals, 
$10.00 per person registration fees for the three Board of Review 
members and the Assessor to attend the seminar in West Branch 02/15/2000.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.

FILING CABINET: (CLERK'S OFFICE):
Motion by Wassmann, seconded by Kopko to advertise for bids on a fire proof
filing cabinet for the clerk's office.
Roll call, all yes, motion carried.
